What We Do

We seek to invest in or acquire lower middle market businesses that are in need of growth capital or are evaluating a strategic change.  We are open to partnering with owners to provide additional growth capital, as well as completing buyouts that allow owners to monetize and exit their businesses entirely.  We are operators at heart, not financial investors, and thus bring real knowledge and experience to our businesses.

How We're Different

Unlike most investors, the principals of Fourteener Capital have experience starting and operating companies.  We are looking for opportunities that require Fourteener to operate the company we acquire, thus providing short-term exit opportunities for owners who lack a succession plan.  Additionally, we are open to investment opportunities involving growth capital or backing existing management teams to acquire their companies.  We've completed both types of transactions successfully.
